Beat the Heat

I can't begin to tell you how hot it is here in Tokyo. I just got back from New York and it was cool there in comparison. They say the body is made of 70% water but by the end of the day I only have 35% left. In America women can wear just tank tops and stay cool but here in Japan we have to stay more covered so it can be excrutiatingly uncomfortable sometimes. The Junie Moon store decided to do a little in store campaign - to commemorate this heat. They de-boxed perfectly good new Blythes, took their clothes off and will sell them in only their undies. Its liberating to see. Its a symbolic campaign only for the store so unfortunately it will not be available on line. But what a statement!

도쿄가 얼마나 더운가는 다른 지역에 사는 사람에게 전하는것이 어려울 정도로··· 엄청 더워요!>ㅂ<;;;;;;;;;;

  2. for example.. if we wear a tank top, we would wear it with something else on top of that, like a big t-shirt. Or we wear a light sweater, or layer two tank tops. I have to show you some photos!
